What is an ATS score?
Applicant tracking systems help employers organize applications, read documents and sometimes compare candidates with a specific job. There is no single industry ATS score. Our number is a readiness estimate from our own document checks, with separate writing advice. It isn't a vendor-certified score or a probability of selection.
Is the ATS checker really free?
Yes. Everyone gets one uploaded CV check per day, including signed-in users. The allowance is locked to both your network and this browser, and renews at 00:00 UTC. Files we can't read don't use your check. To keep improving, sign in and start creating your own CV in the builder.
Which files can I upload?
Upload one PDF, DOC or DOCX file up to 10 MB. Use selectable text and no password protection. Our PDF reader assesses up to 12 pages. Employer limits can be smaller, so check the application instructions. Scanned or image-only PDFs can't be checked.
Does a high score guarantee an interview?
No. Employers use different systems and job-specific criteria. Our readiness score checks contact details, populated sections and record completeness. Length, action verbs and measurable results are writing advice only. This upload check doesn't verify the original layout or job-specific fit. The color ranges are our display groups, not hiring thresholds.
